Yes! The QAS 2020 Christmas Party will be on. Yet, we cannot have our traditional BBQ in 2020 because of Covid. INSTEAD, we warmly invite you all to an afternoon tea. The QAS Committee will enjoy providing drinks (tea, coffee, wine, juice, water…) and individually plated food for you all (we will have commercially prepared delicious food).
THE PLAN
Sunday 6th December:
2pm Winners only: A gathering for those being awarded for the December Exhibition. It’s not possible to do our usual seated exhibition opening. Good news! We will have a PowerPoint of December Winners and 2020 activities that will run all afternoon for you to see when you come.
3pm Afternoon Tea: drinks and bites, provided by Queanbeyan Art Society.
We ask you to RSVP to Rosanna so we know how much food and drink to prepare.
COVID-19 SAFETY
We are confident that we can accommodate 55 people at a time, properly spaced, spread through the whole gallery, pergola area and garden area. We anticipate that you might come along for a while and then leave, with others coming in after. That’s not really a change. Members do that already at the Christmas Party, as they have another function to go to. We’ve all come to know and see our responsibilities to others this year so let’s make this work.
We do want to meet up and say hurrah, that we have been OK, by being careful this year.
