QAS Mission Statement

The Queanbeyan Art Society provides a supportive and encouraging environment for artists. We work together to develop, educate, and provide opportunities to exhibit, promote, and sell art.

The Society is a non-profit organisation which holds art exhibitions, competitions and classes. It is a working gallery holding 11 exhibitions a year. All of our exhibited works are displayed on our website, where members have the opportunity to reach a wider audience and sell their works.

Art groups and classes are held on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. They cover all art media and some specialise in a particular subject matter. The society also produces a monthly newsletter that keeps members informed about news and activities.

A relaxed and supportive environment is encouraged, and students of all levels are welcome. Tuition costs are kept to the minimum and in addition to the regular art classes, visiting professional tutors conduct workshops throughout the year.
